Penn Badgley has hinted he’s ready to leave the cast of Gossip Girl.

The hunky actor says he’s tired of filming the hit CW show and has revealed that he and girlfriend Blake Lively are “not friends” with their costars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr.

“It is what it is,” Badgley told New York Post gossip column Page Six.

“It’s the fourth season. It’s become routine.”

Penn says he, Blake, Jess and Ed — who recently rekindled their romance after a brief split — are “not friends. I mean we just don’t double date.”

‘Gossip Girl’ star Ed Westwick wants to play ‘Batman’ in a movie.

‘It would be a dream come true to play Batman in a big blockbuster movie. He was my childhood superhero,’ contactmusic.com quoted Westwick as saying.

‘He’s a damn good fighter and has access to amazing gadgets, such as the utility belt and, of course, the Batmobile – I’d give my left arm just to sit in it,’ he added.

The 23-year-old star also spoke about his fledgling music career, admitting he had to leave his beloved band because his acting commitments were too great.

‘I had my own band, The Filthy Youth, but I left it over a year ago because I found it difficult to juggle music with my filming commitments,’ he added.

Ed Westwick says he does not use chat up lines and reveals what doesn’t do it for him.

The 23-year-old who plays Chuck Bass in the hit show says: “I’m not a ‘Get your coat, you’ve pulled’ kinda guy, although I’m sure I did use that line when I was 13 at the under-18s disco!”

When asked whether girls use them on him, he said: “Some do. They say the weirdest things like: ‘I’ve been to London.’ They they try to have a conversation with me about London. I’m like: ‘Great!’

“A lot of people still don’t realise I’m English, which is funny. The amount of times I’ve said: ‘Yes, I’m English.”

The star, who is currently campaigning for Nokia’s new N8 phone, also talks about what would happen if he ended up with an American girl.

He said: “She’d have to pack her bags and cross the pond. That’s it!”

The 23-year-old actor shot to fame after landing the role of Chuck Bass in American television show Gossip Girl. Ed – who has been in an on/off relationship with his co-star Jessica Szohr – says his current situation is a dream come true.

He also insists he will continue to work hard and doesn’t want to take his achievements for granted.

“I pinch myself every day and that’s a good thing – it keeps me hungry,” he told Look magazine. “At times there are things I don’t like about it, but I’m having a great ride in America and relishing it.”

The British-born star spends much of time in New York due to the filming schedule for Gossip Girl. Ed admits the novelty of living away from home has started to wear off and he is feeling a little homesick.

“At first I was like ‘wow!’, but now that I’ve settled down I miss Britain a bit more – especially watching football with my friends,” he confessed.
